The Eye of Typhoon is the second unreleased fighting game in the NEOGEO proto game library.
Korean game developer Viccom, with assistance from SNK, put together a vastly improved fighting
game over their first effort; Fight Fever. Typhoon has more characters, better graphics, and
an amazing heart and soul. It was scheduled for release in 1996.
Viccom was a Korean game developer that only released one game for the NEOGEO, Fight Fever.
The game was mostly limited to release in the Korean market. As a result, Fight Fever is one
of the most scarce NEOGEO cartridges manufactured for the system. With such a limited market,
perhaps this was the reason why it was ultimately decided to cancel the NEOGEO release of The
Eye of Typhoon. The PC Computer & Panasonic 3DO versions however, did get released.
